LA PIÑATA - FREMONT 39136 Paseo Padre Pkwy.
Fremont, CA. 94538. (510) 790-6550 One of six locations.

I went in for the first time, and had a "super burrito" with
chicken. As far as I know, Jerry's Little Brother, there were
no bones in the chicken. It took seven minutes to prepare.

The burrito was massive. It took a small forklift to bring it
to my table. It had two massive dollops of sour cream, and
guacamole.

Two thumbs up! http://www.lapinata.com/index.asp?pgid=8

I perused their menu. The place looks decent. The only thing they don't
have is a seafood burrito or an ala carte fish taco, but I could easily eat
there.

Their regular burrito with beef or chicken along with the usual rice,
beans, cheese, with dabs of lettuce, pico de gallo, and cotija cheese
is about $5.50 including tax and rather filling. Not bad, especially
for a sit-down full-service place, with the chips and salsa, etc.
That said, their prices have inched up some, no doubt due to their
extreme popularity. Though, not so high that they deter me. Which
shows some good business skills on their part.

The one in Alameda is the one I frequent. The dinners are pretty good.
The Sunday brunch buffet is a superb assortment of traditional Mexican
breakfast fare, including pastries, some of which are not on the
regular menu. Definitely, Two Thumbs Up.
